The Martindales

Enid & Ora met at their first real jobs. Enid asked Ora out and our first date was the movie Blade. A little more than a year later we were no longer co-workers but we were Wife & Husband. A little more than a year after that we found out we were going to be Mom & Dad. Now we have three kids.

Soon after our first child was born we began family vacations. We started with Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and most recently visited Revolutionary War battlefields and NYC. We've taken our kids to 26 states and counting.

Our Lives Together

    Girl meets Boy.

    We get married.

  • 2001

    Our first child is born; a son.

  • 2002

    We go on our first family vacation to Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons.

  • 2004

    Our second child is born; a daughter.

  • 2005

    We vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and tour the Biltmore.

  • 2006

    Our third child is born; another son.

  • 2007

    We vacation on the beach at South Padre Island and tour the Alamo and the five Missions of San Antonio.

  • 2009

    Enid takes up photography.

  • 2009

    We return for a vacation in Frisco, Colorado, and spend days biking and hiking.

  • 2011

    We go to London and explore all the sites you can in a week.

  • 2011

    We take the kids to DisneyWorld.

  • 2013

    We vacation around Detroit & Traverse City, Michigan, bike and horse buggy through Macinac Island and finish with days of museums in Chicago.

  • 2015

    We take a Revolution War vacation to see the important sites of the war and explore NYC.

  • 2017

    We buy a new house big enough for all of us.
