Upside-down Ants

Ora 5's ants tend to congregate at the bottom of his ant farm. To see if they were alive he tipped the ant farm upside-down. They all began to scatter and he declared "Yep, they're alive."

Enid and I went on our first organized ride of the year - a 38-mile ride beginning and ending in Wamego, KS. It took us out to Westmoreland, KS and then back to Wamego by way of Flush, KS. (Appropriately, there was a rest room available to us in Flush.)The first part of the ride was pretty nice. Jane Mayer does an excellent job of documenting the legal overstepping done by the Bush administration. I've been reading a lot about Rwanda lately on the 15th anniversary of the genocide that occurred there. I wondered why I don't remember anything about it when it was going on. Then I saw another article that said today was the 15th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's suicide. Oh, yeah. I remember that, I thought.
